Browser Check
Before logging in, it is highly recommended that you perform a browser check to see if your computer is properly configured to use Bb-CE.
Click on Check Browser and then use the Browser Tune-up Page for directions on how to properly set up your computer.
Pop-up Blockers
Bb-CE sometimes uses small browser windows to deliver requested content. Some pop-up blockers incorrectly interpret these small windows as pop-ups and block them. If you have installed a pop-up blocker, turn it off while using Bb-CE.
Click here to learn how to enable pop-up windows (Rowan Login required).
Java Security Certificate
After logging in to Bb-CE, you will be prompted to accept a Java Security Certificate. You must click Yes or Always to ensure that Bb-CE functionality using Java will work properly in your browser.
Bb-CE Access
Students will not have access to their Bb-CE courses until the beginning of the semester.
Faculty use Bb-CE on a voluntary basis. If you cannot access your course in My Blackboard after logging in, you need to contact your professor to see if they are using Bb-CE for their course content. Faculty will tell students at the beginning of the semster if Bb-CE is being used.
